Learn about Personas and how they affect actions

While optional, personas can be applied to any action to define its tone and language. There are several pre-configured personas, and you can also modify existing ones or create new ones to perfectly match your voice and language preferences.

You can have multiple predefined personas, each controlling the tone of voice and language of your actions. For example, you could have a persona for a customer support agent who always replies in Danish, and another to act like a friendly CEO replying in British English.

Personas can be assigned to actions, and you can switch between them using a dropdown or the shortcut “⌘/”. This allows you to set up predefined personas per action, as well as easily use ad-hoc ones when needed.

We encourage you to experiment with different persona settings, as they can significantly impact the outcome — for example, a "friendly" versus a "formal" tone, or more subtle adjustments through tone settings. Experimentation is key to finding the configuration that best suits your needs if the default personas aren't quite right.

Good to know: For neutral actions like “Fix Grammar” or “Improve Text,” no persona is often better — it helps preserve the original tone and language of the text
